Daytona State College has negotiated special rates for FCRD Fall Gathering attendees at two local hotels.
One is located on beach side, and one is down the street from Daytona State College, at the new Entertainment Complex called One Daytona.
1. Bahama House
The Bahama House offers a special rate of $89 for Ocean view Kitchenettes with two queen beds. Should anybody want to upgrade to an Oceanfront Kitchenette with two queen beds, the rate would be $114. Rates are based on single or double occupancy and subject to 12.5% tax. (Tax can be waived if the individual making a reservation can provide the hotel with a State of Florida Tax Exemption Certificate and payment is made with that organizations credit card. The certificate with them and provide to the hotel upon arrival.)
The room rates include: daily Continental Breakfast Buffet, daily Open Bar Cocktail Hour, free WIFI in guestrooms, free parking, daily local newspaper, free local phone calls, fresh baked cookies at the hotel’s Front Desk each morning, and no hidden Resort Fees.
Should anybody wish to extend their stay for the weekend, Daytona State College will be happy to extend the special group rate to them as noted above.
The block of rooms will be held until August 16, 2018 for the participants to make their reservations. Room requests after that date will be based on room availability and we will try to extend the group rate but not guaranteed after August 16, 2018.

2. Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott
The Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott, located at One Daytona, offers a special rate of $109 for beautiful Queen/Queen or King rooms. The room rates include: Full hot breakfast buffet, free Wi-Fi, free shuttle service, outside pool, fitness center, business center, free parking and Marriott Rewards. The room block is under the name ‘Florida Council of Resource Development’ for the 2108 Fall Conference and will be held until August 23, 2018.
